Flames usher in a new season with a new Captain’s group for 2025-2026.  Canadian forward Matt Alvaro, entering his 3^rd term with the club will wear the Captain C. While on home ice, returning 2^nd year Canadians, forward Jack Jacome and Defenceman Travis Brown will serve as Alternate Captains and for road duty, 2^nd year returning American Defenceman Charlie Curti and incoming EIHL veteran Canadian forward Tyler Busch will hold the same role.

“With the new season comes a lot of change to our roster which also brings change to the designated leadership group, and we congratulate each of these guys on their selection,” said Head Coach Paul Dixon.

“Matt wore an ‘A’ last season and Travis stepped into a role as injury cover, but it is mostly a new group of guys with just that little bit more responsibility not only on game night but each and every day.”

“Having now been with the entire team for more than a week, we are lucky to have a variety of players with leadership qualities; many more than we could offer this honour.  Based on that, we are confident that we will have the internal push we need to have a good chance at consistent success.”
