Netminder Jake Kupsky will be out of action for the coming weeks after suffering an injury during a training camp on ice session.  Taz Burman will make the start in net from the Amiens challenge opener on Saturday.

“It was some pretty bad luck for Jake with a puck finding the wrong spot as he tried to make a save," said Paul Dixon.   It is disappointing for him and us, but it is part of hockey and we will have to adjust while we wait for his return.”

“The injury will be repaird and then he will be on a programme to return relatively early this season.  We are in a good spot with Taz taking over, but we never want to run with only two goalies so this hurts our depth and we will evaluate where we are to decide how to proceed in the short term.”
