Latest News From The GIHSC Committee

The Supporters Club Committee is happy to keep Flames Supporters informed regarding matters that have been raised and discussed at their meetings.

The Committee last met in April 2024.

A further donation of £12,500 was made to the Flames at the end of March with £1000 coming from the 200-club and that balance from the main account.  The club passed on their thanks and appreciation for this donation.

A 2nd card reader has been purchased for the 50-50 sellers for next season.

An end of season shirt raffle raised £535.

The end of season event will take place on 8th April and there will be 146 attendees including players.  There will be a raffle, retro jersey auction and player of the year awards on the night.

£1942 had been collected on the sponsor grid this season.

Digital season tickets were discussed.  The current season ticketing is very hard to check and there have been occasions where prior year tickets have been used to gain entry and additional people have gained access without a ticket.  Digital ticketing will address these issues and is in line with almost all other sporting events.  Spectrum is providing the system for this to operate.

Season tickets would go on sale on 3rd April 2024 with a deadline of 8th May for reserving existing seats.

The playoff quarter final will be on 14th April at the Spectrum with the away game in Manchester the night before.
