Matt Alvaro will return to the Flames lineup when the new season gets underway.  After an opening term where the Canadian forward finished with 14 goals and 31 assists, the 28 year old improved his production this past term when he was the only Flames skater with 30 goals across all competitions to go with 23 assists for a 53 point haul and joint 2^nd on the club points chart. 

Following 4 NCAA seasons at University of Vermont, the 5’9”, 190lb native of Toronto, Ontario iced a couple of seasons at ECHL Fort Wayne Komets where he appeared in 118 games while netting 35 goals and 81 points after debuting with Orlando Solar Bears in 19-20.
