October 28th at Glasgow Clan - League

6

Final

4

At Glasgow, the Clan scored 4 times on the powerplay, including three straight in the final period that broke up a 3-3 tie on the way to a 6-4 win over the visiting Flames.

The Scottish side jumped out to an early 2 goal lead thanks to Robert Lachowicz and Reid Petryk, the latter on a powerplay, before the game was 8 minutes old.  A Flames powerplay cut the deficit in half when Peter Crinella converted at 11:37.

Luke Lynch put Clan up a pair at 23:31, but Crinella’s 2nd just 14 seconds later pulled the visitors back within a goal before a late period Brett Ferguson powerplay strike squared it at 3 goals each to start the 3rd.

In the 43rd minute, Clan grabbed the lead again with a Michael Pelech powerplay goal. Jake Bolton added another with an extra skater in the 54th minute ahead of Petryk’s 2nd, also with a manpower advantage, at 55:31. A last minute Flames powerplay, 6 skaters to 3 with their net empty, helped Lewis Hook bag the Flames 4th to close out the evening’s scoring.

Eamon McAdam turned aside 18 of 24 shots while Jake Keilly made 20 saves on 24 shots for Clan.
