Canadian forward Tyler Preziuso is the latest addition to the Flames forward group.  The native of Victoria, British Columbia iced the previous 5 seasons at USports University of Alberta Golden Bears where he tallied 74 points in 94 starts with his best term coming during the 22-23 schedule when he had 16 goals and 30 points in 28 games. During his run, the 6’0”, 190lb skater helped with a Canada West conference title and made a pair of appearances at the University Cup National Championships. 

Ahead of that, the 26 year old spent the bulk of 5 seasons In the WHL with Medicine Hat Tigers.  He broke the 50 point barrier twice on the way to 166 points in 326 games including 34 games with Vancouver Giants to close out the last half of his final development term. 

“Tyler is a skilled player who can really skate,” said Paul Dixon.

“He has been a big part of a very successful Golden Bears programme who have produced a lot of quality players we have had in recent years.”

“He is joining a couple of other guys who are helping our team get younger and whilst it will be his first crack at pro hockey we are excited about the abilities he will bring to our lineup.”
